Autonomous Non-Profit Organization “Investment Agency Cherepovets” – an operator and an institute of development of the investment process in the city
The Investment Agency was founded in 2010 by two founding parties: Mayor’s Office of Cherepovets and Severstal, OJSC.
Main business areas of the agency:
- Creating favorable conditions for business operations and attracting investment to the development of urban economics priority areas
- Promoting investment opportunities of the city, search for investors
- Organization of an effective coordination of authorities, development institutes and business in the frame of a business cycle
- Proposals on improvement of business climate, the city’s investment potential and investment legislation
- Cooperation with regional and federal authorities, development institutes on attracting finance for territory development by means of regional and federal budgets
- Development and application of a private—state sector partnership mechanism

- Competent consulting services in the investment activity sphere at the project structuring stage
- Development of matrix of possible rebates, preferences and other forms of project realization support, assistance in achieving the priority status of a project
- Reducing administrative barriers in the frame of an investment cycle, relieving a dialogue between an investor and authorities, reducing structuring and approval stages of a project
